Roden Aircraft 1/72 Fokker FI BiPlane Kit
The picture shows the last air fight of this German ace that took place on September 23, 1917. In an evening, about nineteen o'clock, Werner Foss flied a second mission this day. Chasing a lonely SE-5, he was trapped: his fighter was attacked by several British fighters from 56th Squadron of RFC (Royal Flying Corps) under command of McCudden, an English ace. A death air carousel started twirling. Foss succeeded in damaging McCudden's fighter, but notwithstanding he was beaten down by Arthur Rhys-Davis. So a German ace met his fate.
