The Kotare 1/32 Spitfire Mk.Va model is a masterpiece of precision engineering, featuring 142 high-quality injection-molded plastic parts with a wingspan of 35cm. This kit boasts 40 all-new tooled parts, including a windscreen with de-icing, a hood equipped with the Martin-Baker jettison system, and a fireproof bulkhead. The intricate details extend to dual-height rudder pedals, a fully detailed instrument panel with both rectangle and curved blind flying panels, an elevator trimming wheel, an ice/snow guard, and engine-driven undercarriage controls. The composite pilot's seat comes with or without Sutton Type K harness detail, and the kit includes IFF Mk.II, port wing fillets with an electrical connection door, Mk.V oil cooler fairings, and station-keeping lamps. Additional options include Supermarine and CBAF undercarriage doors, engine top cowlings, and both open and closed cockpit doors. With DeHavilland and Rotol propeller choices and wheels featuring weighted tires with perfect alignment, every detail has been captured. The kit comes with a fully illustrated 28-page instruction manual and high-quality Cartograf decals, allowing you to build one of three legendary Spitfire Mk.Va aircraft, including the iconic fighter flown by ace Douglas Bader.
