Heller Ships 1/400 Lutzow German Pocket Battleship Kit
The Deutschland known as LÜTZOW was built in the Deutsche Werke shipyards in Kiel. It was put into service on April 1, 1933. Conceived as a battleship, it was classified as a heavy cruiser in 1940.
Heavily attacked by British bombers on April 16, 1945, and damaged by depth bomb of 5,45 tons, the cruiser was used as a fixed battery against the Soviets before being blown up on May 4, 1945.
