Gofer Decals 1/24-1/25 Gassers Logos
Gassers were unique cars that ran on the dragstrip in the late 50s and continued into the 70s. They were basically the forerunner of today's funny cars. The name Gasser was coined because you had to use gasoline and could not use methanol or nitromethane. The builders used a wide variety of body styles from 1930 models to 1960. A lot of builders formed fiberglass body parts to lighten the car. Gassers used truck beam axles which lightened the car and redistributed the weight to the rear wheels for more attraction. When building a gasser model you can let your imagination run wild! Pick your favorite body style and your favorite high-performance engine.
