Revell Germany Aircraft 1/72 P47M Thunderbolt Fighter Kit
Thunderbolts in service during WWII gained the nickname "Jugs" because of their close resemblance to period milk bottles. Fortunately for the Allies, the "Jugs" were no milksops. Their eight .50 caliber machine guns were adept at taking down the Luftwaffe's juggernauts and their heavy armor protection let them shatter ground targets with relative impunity. All 130 P-47M fighters were deployed with the 56th Fighter Group which had the second highest air-to-air kills of the war. This kit features detailed surfaces, rockets and fuel tanks plus two decals.
