Kinetic Aircraft 1/48 EA-6B Prowler Kit
Carrier-capable, 4-seat, twin-jet, mid-wing electronic warfare aircraft evolved from the rugged A-6 Intruder attack aircraft - Improved Capability (ICAP III) variant. Kit features engraved panel lines and rivets, detailed cockpit and ejection seats, your choice of extended or folded wings (with internal wing detail), multi-part wheel/tire assemblies, turbine faces with intake and exhaust trunking, multi-part optional open or closed canopies, separately molded antennae and boarding steps. Also includes external stores: underwing pylons, launch rails, drop tanks (x2), AN/ALQ-99 tactical jamming pods (x3) and a single AGM-88 HARM missile. Decals and color painting reference for one US Navy Prowler: BuNo163046, CAG bird of VAQ-140 'Patriots' assigned to CVW-7 onboard USS Dwight D Eisenhower.
