Italeri Military 1/72 Napoleonic War: Mamelucs Cavalry (17 Mounted Figures) Set
Mameluks wore Turkish costumes and kept them even after they passed in French service. Enlisted in the Imperial Guard cavalry, they were unmistakably recognizable for the shape of their uniforms, the cahouk with turban and the curved blades of the Mameluke sabres. History remembers their charge against the Tzar's Guard Cavalry at Austerlitz.
