Italeri Aircraft 1/48 Hurricane Mk I Trop Fighter Kit
While their comrades were fighting the Battle of Britain, the tropicalized variants of the Hawker Hurricane were sent to North Africa for an equally deadly assignment. They had to replace the local mostly biplane forces and fight off the Italians and, later, the Afrika Korps. It wasn't easy. Despite the improvements like dust screens and survival equipment loaded on the Hurricanes, enemy fighters exacted a fearsome toll. Nevertheless, Hurricanes held the line and helped drive the Axis back out of the desert. Kit features six decal versions and photo etched parts.
