Hobby Boss Aircraft 1/48 Focke Wulf FW 190D-10 Kit
Because of the concerns of the new fighters of the enemy, the Germany Air Force put out the requirements of the new fighters. The design of the Dr.Kurt Tank finally became the Fw 190 which was regarded as one of the best fighters during WWII at the end of 1903s. The fantastic performance of the Fw 190 soon led the replacement of the Messerschmidt Bf-109. The Fw 190D-10 was based on the airframe of the Fw 190A-10, this type was powered by a Jumo 213C-1 engine and a Junkers VS-9 three-bladed wooden propeller. The vertical stabilizer was the same large one on the Ta 152. The D-10 project was abandoned because of the problems of the new engine in April 1944.
