Hobby Boss Aircraft 1/48 F4F-3S Wild Catfish Kit
The Wildcat was the main shipboard fighter when the US entered WWII. The F4F was barrel-shaped, with angular wingtips and rudder and a narrow-track undercarriage. The F4F was well-armed and reliable, and was a natural shipboard aircraft, probably easier to land on a carrier deck than on land. Kit consists of over 110 parts, detailed fuselage & wing with accurate design, detailed engine & cockpit, Pratt & Whitney R-1830-76 Twin Wasp, photo etched parts for safety belt, armament: (4) Browning 0.50 guns, (2) 100 lb bombs.
