Heller Aircraft 1/48 Etendard IV P Aircraft Kit
To address the need for a tactical reconnaissance plane refuelable in flight, the seventh Etendard IVM was modified pre-production. The Etendard IVP flew for the first time on 19 November 1960, and was followed by 21 production aircraft. The only real combat missions of the Etendard IV have been the photo reconnaissance missions conducted by the Etendard IV P during operations in Lebanon in 1983-1984, in the former Yugoslavia from 1993, and Kosovo in 1999. On 28 July 2000, the dissolution of the Flotilla 16F, based at Landivisiau, in Brittany, and the only operational unit equipped with Etendard IVP, marked the end of their career. They had flown more than 200,000 flight hours.
