Hasegawa Ship Models 1/700 Japanese Navy Nachi Heavy Cruiser (High Grade Full Hull) Ltd. Edition Kit
Philippine Thunder
Nachi was part of the legendary and massive Myoko class of heavy cruisers. When it was commissioned in 1928, it was one of the largest cruisers in existence. For the next sixteen years, its ten 8-inch guns, eight 127 mm guns and 12 Type 93 Long Lance Torpedoes stood ready to send enemies of Japan to the bottom. Late in 1944, however, Nachi was stuck in the Philippines-attending to a sequence of minor repairs. It was sunk off Corregidor by aircraft in 12 feet of water. Kit features a full hull and display stand.
