Riich Military 1/72 M992A1 (FAASV) Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (New Tool) Kit
The M992A1 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle (FAASV) was produced between the late 1980s and early 1990s, under the HELP (Howitzer Extended Life Program). This upgrade includes AN/PSN-11 (PLGR) Satellite Signals Navigation and Global Positioning System (GPS) unit. The seating now allows a crew of three, with a driver’s seat and commander’s seat. The engine was upgraded to a turbocharged, 2-cycle, V-8 Detroit Diesel 8V71T 440hp (328 kW) with low heat rejection/cold start (LHR/CS) and an Allison XTG411-4 transmission. The propellant storage setup was redesigned and upgrades to the conveyor system were also done.
